“Arise, awake and do not stop until the goal is reached.” – Swami Vivekananda

If we learn nothing else, let us learn to give, let us learn to serve….” Sister Nivedita

One of the youngest constituent colleges of University of Delhi, Bhagini Nivedita College was established in 1992 with a special focus on women’s education. It was formally named after sister Nivedita, the ardent disciple of Swami Vivekananad, who was devoted towards the cause of welfare of women, social reform and empowerment through education. Inspired by Sister Nivedita’s lifelong mission the college aims to provide holistic higher education to young girls to build their capacity to achieve their ambitions while simultaneously honing their cultural and extra-curricular skills.
